OPC Informed Choice and Respectful Care Webinar

On Nov. 4, 2025, the Oregon Perinatal Collaborative coordinated a webinar on informed choice and respectful care with Dr. Nicholas Rubashkin of the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Human Rights in Childbirth. We have had many requests from OPC partners, especially those of you working on community birth transfer improvement, for more focused continuing education and this area, and we are excited to share this case study-based webinar highlighting best practices for common areas of conflict or concern in prenatal and labor care.

Oregon Doula Workforce Analysis

On December 1st, 2025, the Oregon Perinatal Collaborative coordinated a webinar that introduced key findings and recommendations from the recently published Oregon Doula Workforce Analysis. Representatives from CORE, who completed the study and the Oregon Doula Association, who were part of the planning and supported the connections into the community were on the call as well to share about related work and participate in a group discussion about the recommendations.

Severe Hypertension Initiative Webinars

From June 2024-June 2025, hospital teams across Oregon participated in a quality initiative to implement the Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy and Postpartum toolkit. The following webinars were offered in support of the initiative. OPC Severe Hypertension Initiative - Final Webinar

The 13-month OPC Severe Hypertension quality improvement initiative is coming to an end in June 2025. On June 12th , 2025, from 12-1pm all are invited to a webinar to hear lessons learned and best practices identified by the 25 hospitals who participated. Hypertension for Doulas Webinar - On Demand

Register below for an on demand webinar on hypertension for doulas supported by the Oregon Perinatal Collaborative and led by Raeben Nolan and Molly MacMorris-Adix, CNM. This webinar will provide an overview of the toolkit published in 2024 for doulas as part of the Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy & Postpartum initiative. This toolkit and the webinar will highlight essential information on hypertension and the important role that doulas can play in helping pregnant and postpartum folks recognize warning signs and access care when needed.
